ESG at ZIMMER56 in Berlin
We are delighted to present ZIMMER56 at Zimmerstraße 56 / Schützenstraße 15-17. This building offers numerous ESG components for our tenants.
But what does this mean for the tenants of the building and what added value do they benefit from?

Our tenants benefit from approximately 40% lower primary energy consumption compared to similar properties. Thanks to district heating, CO₂ emissions per kWh are approximately 70% lower than with natural gas heating. Climate-neutral electricity also contributes to our ecological footprint. Water-saving sanitary facilities and LED lighting throughout the building also help to keep resource consumption and operating costs low.

User comfort for our tenants is particularly important to us. To reduce heat radiation in summer, the office spaces have external sun protection. Covered bicycle parking spaces are available for active users. In addition, the entire building has a barrier-free structure, such as step-free access and ramps that facilitate access to the inner courtyard. The green inner courtyard, which invites you to take a relaxing break with its seating areas, is a particularly popular spot in the warmer months.
These ESG components have contributed significantly to our BREEAM certification in the ‘Excellent’ category.
